Red LED light can reduce inflammation and pigmentation. Some users notice pigmentation may temporarily appear more visible during treatment as blood flow increases, but this typically improves with regular use.
We do not specifically advertise the LED Mask for melasma or rosacea. Melasma, often hormone-related, can take several skin cycles (3–4) before showing improvement.
While some customers have seen benefits, hormone-related melasma (e.g., post-pregnancy) may be less responsive.
For melasma concerns, we always recommend consulting a dermatologist before starting treatment.
Red LED light can help reduce inflammation associated with rosacea. During early treatments, rosacea may appear worse as blood vessels come to the surface, but this typically improves with regular use.
While we do not specifically market the LED Mask for rosacea (especially hormone-related types), some users have reported improvements.
We always recommend consulting a dermatologist for personalised advice.
LED light therapy does not affect Botox or fillers. It can aid in healing, so it’s safe to use the LED Mask after injectable treatments.
You can apply green tea serum or hyaluronic acid for hydration and enhanced results. After treatment, avoid products with active ingredients like retinol or vitamin C immediately, as they may increase light sensitivity.
Peptide-based and UV-protective skincare is fine to use.
- Red light (633nm): Boosts collagen production, reducing fine lines and wrinkles
- Near-infrared (830nm): Energises cells to firm, tighten and brighten skin
- Deep near-infrared (1072nm): Targets areas where signs of ageing are more pronounced, boosting collagen production deep under the skin.
The silicone used in CurrentBody LED Masks does not harbour bacteria.
You can wipe it down with a dry or slightly damp cloth—no need for alcohol or antibacterial wipes, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Avoid sprays or direct liquid contact.
If you have an underactive or overactive thyroid, consult a medical professional before using any device.
LED light therapy generally doesn’t negatively affect thyroid function and may support hormonal balance.
However, always check with your healthcare provider if you are on medication. For Hashimoto's thyroid disease, the same advice applies.
This red light therapy mask has extra LED bulbs in an improved layout and an added chin strap for better, full-face light coverage, while new deep near-infrared light supercharges results. Now even easier and more comfortable to use:
- Best-Fit flexible liquid silicone contours to every face for improved coverage
- New multiway strap for a secure fit and maximum comfort
- Clip-on controller makes it easier to use on the go
- Optional eye inserts to make reading, scrolling, or watching TV with your device on even easier

LED Anti-Blemish Light Therapy Mask Series 2
The Anti-Blemish Mask is really designed to assist with treating Acne so eliminating the bacteria causing the acne breakout or flare ups.
It also combines red light so will have the benefits of anti-aging but I would not recommend this mask for someone who does not suffer from mild to moderate acne.
The Anti-Blemish Mask helps to controls oil production, reduces shine, keeps pores clear, prevents breakouts from clogged pores. Supports skin repair, reduces risk of scarring. Reduces redness, and calms irritated skin
220 Veritace® red and blue LEDs power this LED face mask at two clinically proven wavelengths:
- Blue (415nm): Eliminates bacteria to target existing blemishes and helps prevent new ones from forming.
- Red (633nm): Boosts collagen production and reduces inflammation, helping to improve healing and even skin tone.
LED light therapy can be used after completing isotretinoin or tetracycline treatment. We recommend waiting 2 weeks after finishing medication. Always check with your GP first.
This appliance must not be used by children aged 12 or under.
People aged between 13 and 18 must always use the appliance under adult supervision.
If you are currently using isotretinoin this will be prescription based and would advise to only start LED treatment once you have completed the course of treatment as recommended to you.
Although LED light therapy can be safely used alongside isotretinoin (Accutane) and tetracycline which are the most common prescriptions used to treat Acne breakouts, it is important to remember that everyone’s skin reacts differently to the effect.
Some patients may experience increased sensitivity or irritation when combining isotretinoin and tetracycline treatments within a week of starting treatment.
The new and improved CurrentBody Skin LED Anti-Blemish Mask has an added chin strap for extra coverage and more LEDs, providing a more complete and effective treatment across areas prone to hormonal breakouts.
Features an extra head strap for added support and a belt clip for portable and convenient red and blue LED light therapy at home.
Do not use the LED Mask while taking antibiotics, as they can make your skin more sensitive to light, increasing the risk of irritation. Wait 3–6 weeks after finishing your medication before resuming treatment.
Yes, goggles are required when using the blue LED light setting.
Our device contains both red and blue LEDs in the same treatment, making the light look a pink/purple colour as the lights mix.
We expect you to see results within 6 weeks of using the mask.
However, everyones’ skin is different and will react to the treatment in different ways.
After 6 weeks of consistent use, we recommend taking a break from the device for a couple of weeks before continuing with treatment.
Blue light therapy gets absorbed by the cells on the skin’s surface, specifically targeting spot-causing bacteria (p. acnes).
Red light therapy works below the skin’s surface to lower inflammation and soothe redness for a brighter, clearer skin tone.
LED Anti-Blemish Light Therapy Mask Series 1
132 LED lights that emit 2 clinically proven blue and red light wavelengths proven to target blemishes more effectively than blue light alone:
- Blue (415nm):Helps to eliminate blemish-causing bacteria, control oil production and reduce shine
- Red (633nm): Proven to reduce inflammation and calm redness while boosting skin healing.
Before beginning treatment, wash and dry your face. Make sure you have conducted a light sensitivity test if it is your first time using the device.
LED 4-in-1 Zone Facial Mapping Mask

There are multiple wavelengths emitted per LED bulb; some have 5 chipsets, and some are 4, equating to 360 LED bulbs in total.
If you experience excessive heat, discomfort or skin irritation during patch test or anytime whilst using the mask, discontinue and contact customer care.
We do not recommend carrying out more than one treatment consecutively or using more than once within a 24-hour period.
We recommend to be used 5 times a week for 10 minute treatment periods and up to 4-6 weeks for visible results.
You can if you wish use the mask up to 7 times a week if you choose to do so.
As collagen and elastin takes 8 weeks to rebuild and so we advise that you will start to see results after 8 weeks of following the treatment plan. Your skin will feel tighter and more supple and skin will feel more radiant and begin to clear.
RF Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Device
We do not recommend using this device if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
The device has not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding women, so potential risks to you or your baby are unknown.
The device is designed to tighten and tone the skin, enhancing facial definition when used as recommended. It is not intended to cause fat loss.
However, if you have a naturally slim or smaller facial frame, you might notice a reduction in facial "plumpness" as the skin becomes firmer. Some users report that, as their skin tightens, their features (such as the eyes or jawline) appear more defined.
This effect may give the impression of fat loss, but the device is not designed to target or break down fat cells.
Our CurrentBody Radio Frequency (RF) device reaches the optimal collagen-stimulating temperature of 43°C—higher than many competitor devices that only reach 40–42°C.
The heat penetrates deeply into the skin, stimulating collagen without affecting fat cells.
If you are concerned about volume loss, we recommend focusing your RF treatments on specific areas rather than the entire face.
Voltage: 9V
Current: 1.5A
Input: 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz
Power Output: 6 ± 0.5 Watts
Frequency: 1 ± 0.05 MHz
The CurrentBody Skin RF Device uses Bipolar Radio Frequency.
It combines bipolar RF waves with our exclusive Skin Sense Technology. This technology continuously monitors and adjusts to your skin’s temperature and resistance, keeping the skin at 43°C—the optimal temperature for collagen production.
Bipolar RF works by delivering energy between two poles, allowing it to penetrate deeper skin layers to stimulate collagen formation safely and effectively.
Other key features:
- Consistent, targeted energy for maximum results
- Reduces the need for frequent treatments—once a week is sufficient
- Safe for at-home use, maintaining professional-grade effectiveness
If you don't have time for a full 70-minute facial treatment, you can break it down into shorter sessions across different days. Just avoid treating the same area more than once a week.
Here’s a suggested treatment breakdown:
- Forehead: 10 minutes
- Frown lines (Brow 11’s): 5 minutes
- Crow’s feet: 10 minutes
- Cheeks: 10 minutes
Most users find it practical to spread treatments over 2–3 days rather than completing them all in one session.
We are not medically trained and recommend consulting your doctor or dentist before using RF technology.
Contraindications include:
- Do not use if you have active implants (including silicone) or implantable metal devices in the treatment area.
- Do not use over body piercings in the treatment area.
- Dental implants are generally not considered an issue. However, we recommend starting with the lowest setting, especially around the mouth. If you experience discomfort, avoid the area and focus on the rest of the face or neck.
- You may notice a metallic taste in your mouth during treatment, which is normal.
Please note that the FDA status is required in order to meet the trade regulations for the USA market only.
Our CurrentBody Skin Radio Frequency Device for the USA market is FDA-cleared.
Yes you can. You can use the device to target areas like Crow's feet - 10mins (5 mins each side).
This will be along the bone-line of the eye areas working in a 'side-to-side' motion to treat this area.
The User Manual has diagrams to illustrate all the areas you can treat to achieve the maximum results.
We do not recommend using any radio frequency device on the Thyroid area.
Our contraindications state - DO NOT use if you suffer from severe or uncontrolled endocrine or metabolic conditions, such as diabetes or uncontrolled thyroid disease.
Yes you can use the device on the back of your hands however the surface of the skin on the hands is different to that on your face and it may take longer for you to see results on the back of your hands vs your face.
We do have the CurrentBody Skin LED Hand Mask specifically designed to help treat the hands and help reverse the anti-aging effects around the hand and lower arm area.
Infrared Sauna Blanket
We do not recommend using this device if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
It has not been tested in these circumstances, so the potential risks are unknown.
You can use the Infrared Sauna Blanket up to three times per week, with each session lasting 40 to 60 minutes, to achieve noticeable results.
Daily use is not necessary. Following the recommended routine and session duration will deliver the best outcomes.
If you prefer to use the device more frequently, start slowly and pay attention to how your body responds.
Gradually increase the session length and frequency as your body adapts to the infrared heat.
Before starting any treatment, always read the user manual and review the contraindications.
Laser Hair Removal Device
We do not recommend using this device if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. It has not been tested in these circumstances, so any potential risks are unknown.
Do not wax, pluck, epilate, or undergo a skin peel in the 6 weeks before starting treatment.
Only shave the area you plan to treat. Shaving maintains the hair follicle, which the laser targets.
Exfoliate the skin before shaving to remove dead skin cells and help release any ingrown hairs. This allows the laser to penetrate effectively to the root of the follicle.
Shave the treatment area within 4 hours before your session, ideally immediately beforehand.
Do not apply any creams or products before treatment. Skin must be clean and dry for the laser to work effectively.
After treatment, apply a high-quality moisturiser to rehydrate the skin.
Between treatments, do not wax, pluck, or epilate. Only shave if required.
Laser and IPL hair removal work by detecting melanin in the hair.
These treatments are not effective on white, grey, or red hair, as these contain little or no melanin.
IPL and laser devices are not recommended for very dark skin tones (Fitzpatrick VI) due to the higher melanin levels, which increase the risk of burns or skin damage.
Avoid swimming for 3 to 7 days after treatment. Chlorine and other chemicals can irritate sensitive skin.
If you experience redness or irritation, wait longer before swimming.

Wait until any redness or irritation has subsided before going out in the sun.
Hair Health Helmet
We do not recommend using this device if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
The device has not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding women, so any potential risks are unknown.
Most hair regrowth devices are clinically tested to treat genetic hair loss, such as Androgenetic Alopecia.
This condition can cause hair follicles to remain dormant, but regrowth is often possible with the right treatment.
Many people use medications like Minoxidil and Finasteride alongside their hair regrowth treatments. We advise reading the labels carefully, as we cannot offer medical advice on individual conditions.
However, based on customer feedback and expert analysis, Minoxidil can complement LED hair regrowth treatments. There’s no reason why the two can’t be used together.
Regaine/Rogaine – Over-the-counter topical solution or foam (Minoxidil), encourages hair growth and prevents hair loss in both men and women.
Finasteride – Prescription oral medication for hair loss; may have side effects.
We recommend using the device on clean, dry hair. It doesn’t need to be freshly washed, but it should be free from styling products like oils, gels, hairsprays, or masks.
These products can block hair follicles and prevent the LED light from penetrating the scalp.
Washing your hair every other day or every two days is fine, but avoid leaving it too long between washes, as greasy hair may affect the treatment.
The CurrentBody LED Hair Regrowth Device uses Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) to activate dormant hair follicles and prevent further hair loss.
It uses a clinically proven 640nm wavelength to increase blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients to the scalp and extending the hair growth phase (anagen phase).
Key features:
120 red LED bulbs for full-spectrum therapeutic coverage
Energy density: 30 mW/cm²
Power output: 450 mW
Dose: 18 J/cm² (three times stronger than most other devices on the market)
Recommended use: 10 minutes per day.
Visible results can be seen in 16 weeks.
The device is suitable for men and women, all hair types, and those with androgenetic alopecia.
It strengthens existing hair, enlivens follicles, and slows hair loss at a cellular level
Some shedding is normal at the beginning of treatment—this is a sign the device is working.
Most users experience this within 2–3 months of daily use, although the timeline can vary.
What to expect:
- Weeks 0–4: Some shedding as damaged hair falls out, making room for healthier strands.
- Weeks 4–8: Increased blood flow to hair follicles, improving their strength and supporting regrowth.
- Weeks 8–16: Noticeable increase in new hair growth and follicle count.
We recommend taking progress photos throughout your journey to track results.
Charge the device for 3 hours before first use. The power indicator will flash while charging and remain solid when fully charged.
Disconnect from the charger before use. The device won’t operate while charging for safety reasons.
The device automatically shuts off after 10 minutes.
If it shuts off unexpectedly after repeated use, allow it to cool down and try again.
Typical battery life is up to 6 uses per charge, depending on Bluetooth usage.
If Bluetooth is disconnected, battery life is extended, with a recommended weekly recharge.
Both LED and laser therapies use light to stimulate cells, improving blood flow and nutrient delivery to hair follicles.
This supports healthier hair growth and follicle regeneration.
Laser Therapy uses a single, focused wavelength to treat a small area of the scalp.
LED Light Therapy uses multiple wavelengths and treats larger areas, activating more follicles at once.
LED therapy typically offers broader coverage than laser devices, which can lead to more comprehensive scalp treatment.
When Bluetooth is activated, a female voice prompt will confirm: "Power on > Pairing."
LED treatments may affect hair extensions depending on the type of application used. Potential risks include:
- Heat sensation on treated areas
- Possible loosening or damage to extensions
- Skin irritation
- Check with your hair technician before using the device on or near hair extensions.
You can use the device on bleached or coloured hair, but make sure your hair is clean and dry.
Remove any styling products that might block the LED light from penetrating the scalp.
If you wash your hair every other day or two, that’s fine. Greasy or product-heavy hair may interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment.
The precision of the LED light, not your hair colour, determines treatment success.
