Braun Series 9 Pro 9477cc Electric Shaver with Charging Case

AS a person who always wet shaved I've had a lot of disappointment with electric shavers, unfortunately having severe arthritis in my hands has now left me no option. After reading many reviews and websites I decided to go with this Braun Series 9 Pro and I'm glad I did as it beats all the other electric shavers I've used hands down and even though it will never be the same as my wet shave it's bl**dy darn close really impressed with this shaver and having scoured the net found the best price on here plus it came with the charging case and clean station which is brilliant.

Not as good as series7

Brilliant, very smooth shave.

It makes shaving an enjoyable experience, and really powers through longer stubble. So much so, in fact, that there's not much audible feedback as to whether there's more to shave or not - the motor note stays the same no matter what. Great at picking up the longer hairs; for once in my life I'm not finding long, flat-lying hairs left untouched.

I'm unconvinced about the value of the charging case. It's heavy and bulky for travelling, and it's only actually useful in the particular instance of travelling for between 4 & 6 weeks. Any less and you don't need to top-up; any more and you'll need the charging cable & adaptor anyway.

The care centre is also bulky of course, tho it does do a nice job of the cleaning. I tend to use it about once per week, because I don't want to leave it on my small bathroom shelf.

This is the best electric razor I have used. Equally good on face head and body.
